Recommendation on how to spread budget without strategies

Lets say we have 1000$ , we have patience and we want to make some gains.

The easiest way to do that is the DCA aka DOLLAR COST AVERAGE strategy

Lets say we take 5 years period, so in this case we are allowed to spend 200$ a year which is around 16.67$ aprox

I would take between 25-50% of that and place it into BTC, since its the king of crypto and is probably continue to be for the next season. If you want to be extra safe, you can go 50-75%

With the rest I would look into coins that have been around since the last crypto winter, with a good project and team behind, managed to reach or close to ATH from 2017 in the recent months and have a strong potential to continue to do that , like examples :
